Santa Maria Assunta
Formerly known as the Church of Santa Filomena, it was dedicated to Santa Maria Assunta after 1961 when the Congregation of Rites removed the saint from the liturgical calendar. In that year, Santa Maria Assunta becomes the new patron saint of Roseto.
Built in 1857 as a single nave, at the end of which is the presbyterial area separated from the rest by two pointed arches in succession and surmounted by a hexagonal dome.
The mosaics on the promenade
Bruno Zenobio represents his personal vision of the sea in his mosaic art.
Set into the seats of the promenade, right in front of the entrance to the central bathing establishments, we find ten mosaics that are a true hymn to the sea, to the memories linked to its presence.
