The access and presence of dogs and cats accompanied by their owner are subject to compliance with hygiene and health regulations. Therefore, our friend must have suitable health certification or vaccination record; otherwise, they will not be allowed access to the beach.

Access is prohibited for female animals during their estrus period, and it is mandatory for the animal to be identifiable through a microchip and other identification documents.

Our little dog friends, respecting other beachgoers, can stay within the area of the beach umbrellas but still in the immediate vicinity of the owner, who is also required to remove solid waste and spray water, including seawater, on liquid waste. In public areas, bathing of animals, under the responsibility of the owner, is allowed from 7:30 AM to 9 AM and from 6:30 PM to 8 PM, unless otherwise specified by the beach establishment operators.

As for the free beaches, bathing will be allowed outside of the bathing hours:

– In the stretch between the former Lido Mion and Lido Oasis.
– In the section south of the Borsacchio stream
– In the area south of the pier
– In the free beach located south of the municipal slipway of Cologna Spiaggia.

Animal walks along the shoreline are also allowed provided that the owner takes all appropriate measures (use of leash and/or muzzle) to prevent danger to public and private safety.
