The Church of Santa Lucia, located in the homonymous district of Roseto degli Abruzzi, has an interesting history that dates back to the second half of the 19th century when the area was known as Villa Patrizii. During that time, the area was owned by the Patrizii barons, and there was a small chapel present.
In 1929, the chapel, which was under the jurisdiction of the Montepagano Parish, was expanded and renovated. A small sail-shaped bell tower was also added, and in 1932, a new bell was installed and inaugurated. Therefore, the chapel became increasingly important for the local community.
