La Villa Clemente è una dimora storica situata nella zona nord di Roseto degli Abruzzi. Costruita alla fine dell’Ottocento in stile Liberty, faceva parte di un gruppo di residenze balneari che si trovavano lungo la costa.
Progettata dal nobile Vincenzo Clemente, divenne presto la residenza principale della famiglia Clemente. L’edificio è stato ampliato nel corso del tempo, aggiungendo un secondo e un terzo piano. L’edificio originale risale probabilmente al 1857 e le mura del piano terra, fatte di pietre grandi di fiume e calce, indicano una costruzione molto antica. Gli interni sono caratterizzati da mura aperte con archi alti tra le camere, soffitti a volta o a botte e affreschi. L’esterno, in mattoni a vista, presenta decorazioni neogotiche e una torre-altana che ospita la scala a chiocciola. Il giardino, che una volta arrivava fino al mare, è stato tagliato dalla ferrovia.
Oggi la villa è di proprietà del comune di Roseto degli Abruzzi e sarà oggetto di una rivalutazione nei prossimi mesi.
